"I’ve always wired my own studios and worked out the routing etc but recently my studio has grown more and more complex. I currently have 5 computers (both Mac and PC) networked together, a large Yamaha digital desk fully expanded with almost 200 channels of in/out in ADAT, AES/EBU and analogue format, and all the effects units are wired in digitally via AES/EBU or spdif plus there are patchbays connected to analogue effects and synths etc which are all patched into Nuendo my sequencer of choice and all the video and midi stuff on top of that. I had a feeling that I could improve the way things were set up and there were also a few things that weren’t working as well as they should have that I’d been meaning to sort out for ages but never got round to. Arron came down to the studio for an informal chat where we discussed what I was trying to achieve, and the sort of things I do on a daily basic when composing to picture. The work Arron did in planning the optimum wiring and routing of all my gear quickly helped me get the most out of my equipment. By working closely with me he really helped me understand what I needed to achieve to develop my studio. He has an analytical mind and his ability to calmly work through any issue is excellent. Further, Arron was not only friendly but could explain everything for me so that I was up and running with the newly improved setup in no time."
